A: Our roof brackets are universally engineered to fit standard ISO shipping containers, including 10ft, 20ft, and 40ft units (both Standard 8.5ft and High Cube 9.5ft containers). The contoured profile is designed to securely hook onto the top side rails of the container walls.
Q2: What size lumber or truss does the top U-channel accommodate?
A: The top mounting bracket pocket typically accommodates standard dimensional lumber such as 2x4 (approx. 38x89 mm) or 2x6 (approx. 38x140 mm) rafters and wood trusses. Custom slot widths for square steel tubing or C-channels are also available upon request - please contact our engineering team with your specifications.
Q3: Does installation require welding or special tools?
A: No welding is required. This is a completely bolt-on / clamp-on DIY-friendly solution. The brackets hook over the top edge and secure firmly using pre-drilled holes with self-tapping screws or mounting bolts. This allows for quick, non-destructive installation that preserves the original weather-tight condition and resale value of your container.
Q4: What material is this bracket made of?
A: It is made of heavy-duty galvanized steel with black powder coating, anti-rust, corrosion-resistant, suitable for outdoor long-time use.
